Final note: I’m presently revising Chapter 15 of Lani’s perspective in To Lands Beyond. Lani’s chapters 1 – 13 in the book were decent in my opinion, but chapter 14 and chapter 15 seem on another level entirely. This is especially true for chapter 15. It is tempting to post the epigraph to that chapter, but I have decided to save it as something to be enjoyed by the reader of the whole book in the context of the whole book. It’ll be a year or so. Patience. By exhibiting patience and restraint, I feel that I’m making something excellent even better. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy it myself.

With that said, I’ll post a couple tidbits here on a similar albeit real-world note. I’m presently in a Capstone class in CF’s Bachelor’s program, and I’ll just say it demonstrates the Capstone attribute of “much work with high standards”. Fortunately, there are a number of things to look forward to in the near, post-class future.

  1. Early July. I won’t be in the busy-ness class anymore.
  2. Mid-July. I have a trip to Mexico with Padre. Relaxation.
  3. Mid-August. I have another trip to Mexico to meet Alexia in Puerto Vallarta. We met during the Puerto Vallarta trip in mid-May, and we have been talking and practicing English (and Spanish) since.

In other words, I think now is a fine moment to apply some of the lessons I’ve learned from writing: Patience, trust the process, and enjoy that process when possible (there are plenty of opportunities to do so).
