Week of February 11, 2024 – B.Blue predicts Superbowl, Gaur pearl (trichobezoar), & Carrot adventures

(Above: This is a bezoar stone (trichobezoar) that I found in the field. Apparently, this could be valued around $5,500 dollars in some places in China.

Final Note: On reviewing this post, I could not help but notice the sheer amount of downright odd farm-related content. How many places have Belgian Blue calves predicting Super Bowls, trichobezoar stones as big as baseballs, and a wagyu cows snatching carrots from Gaur hybrids… all in one week? Oh, and speaking of carrots…

It appears that the inhabitants of Jacobhouse’s garden have provided a source of inspiration for some truly unique tales (short stories narrated in Spanish about the adventures of a carrot-man named Zanito and a squirrel named Ardilla):

I live an unusual life, and I think that’s a good thing.
