For lunch, we ate a taco salad. In this case, though, we did not need to use salsa because I seasoned the beef with a little bit of aged tomato sauce. The flavor was delicious. Before eating lunch, I prepared the main dish for dinner: beef shank seasoned with fresh rosemary, fresh garlic, black pepper, chiltepin, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. I wrapped the meat in butcher’s paper and foil, and then I placed it in a 350 F oven for 4 and a half hours. Antes de almorzar, yo preparé el plato principal de la cena: pierna de res sazonada con romero fresco, ajo fresco, pimienta negra, chiltepín, salsa inglesa y sal. Some lion’s mane mushroom that Madre cooked. I don’t know if it is the truth for all this type of mushroom, but these tasted very bitter and the texture was mushy. They were not pleasing to me. A small dessert of a sliced red apple sprinkled with cinnamon. I utilized a little bit of leftover sour cream from lunch to dip those slices in. Un postre pequeño de una manzana roja en rodajas espolvoreada con canela. Utilicé un poco de la crema ácida sobrante del almuerzo para mojar esas rodajas.
