Week of March 31, 2024 – 3.5′ Down, Sheep Shearing, & Fine Weather

(Above: This afternoon, I got to the 3.5’ under-the-ground-mark for Guesthouse’s first pylon hole.

Final Note: It’s 1:47 PM on a Sunday afternoon (4/7), and the midday siesta is just about to occur. Before it does, though, I must make note of the weather. It is sunny. The temperature is slightly above 70 F (21 C). There is a slight breeze billowing through Jacobhouse, carrying with it the freshness of the outdoors and the sounds of warbling wrens, and though my hands and feet feel slightly cool, it is that pleasant, smooth sort of coolness that is simultaneously superficial and refreshing. I’m not sure what exactly perfect weather would be, but this must be close to it.
