4/7/2022 – Taxco, Day 10 – Piano & Planting

(Above: The largest herb I transplanted was a tree-like rosemary. I put it in a container bearing two other slightly-withered rosemary plants. With my regularly tending to them, perhaps they will be restored to health.)

Weather: Today began in the low 50s and proceeded to warm into the low 80s. Mostly sunny.

Early morning in Taxco & Breakfast at Casa Spratling:

Late morning adventure of playing the piano in Museo de Arte Virreinal de Taxco. And getting a cup of coffee:

Due to my not getting the usual cup of coffee at Scaffecito this morning (closed on Thursdays), I stopped by Café Punta Del Cielo – a chain coffee establishment – on the way back from playing the piano. It reminded me of a Starbucks. I would probably rate it 5/10 due to the more-or-less commercial atmosphere, but the ‘Café Americano’ was still passable.

Acquiring ingredients for lunch & lunch itself at Casa Spratling:

Gardening at Casa Spratling:

Dinner at Antologia Grill – Delicious food, tremendous presentation – 10/10

Final Note: It was a delightful day of writing, food, music, and gardning. That sounds about right.
