Week of September 25, 2022 – A brush with Ian and the arrival of autumn.

9/25/2022: Today began in the mid 60s and warmed into the high 80s. Dry and sunny throughout.

9/26/2022: Today began in the high 60s and proceeded to warm into the high 80s. Sunny throughout.

9/27/2022: Today began in the low 70s and warmed into the high 80s. Cloud cover was constant. Breezy.

9/28/2022: Today began in the low 70’s and drizzly. Very little wind until noon when the breeze began to pick up. Winds reached 20 MPH by late day.

9/29/2022: Today began in the low 60s and remained in the 60s and 70s for the remainder of the day. Drizzly rain at the beginning, and breezy throughout.

9/30/2022: Today began in the mid 60s and warmed into the mid 80s. Mostly sunny.

10/1/2022: Today began in the high 50s and proceeded to warm into the low 80s. Sunny throughout.

Final Note: Though we made plenty of preparations for the approach of Hurricane Ian, I am happy to say that most of those preparations were not needed. Furthermore, the weather has cooled, allowing for the enjoyment of outdoor activities and for the opening of windows at Jacobhouse.
