Lunch consisted of a fried mixture of beef liver, red onion, carrot, and eggs. This was accompanied by a colorful salad made by Padre. El almuerzo consistía en una mezcla frita de hígado de res, cebolla roja, zanahoria y huevos. Esta estaba acompañada de una ensalada colorida hecha por mi padre. 
Step #1: I prepared lamb chops for dinner. I seasoned them with olive oil, bourbon-infused balsamic, Sicilian spices, salt, and black pepper. Paso #1: Yo preparé chuletas de cordero para la cena. Las aderecé con aceite de oliva, vinagre balsámico infusionado con bourbon, especias sicilianas, sal y pimienta negra. 
The afternoon of 9/1/2024. It rained before we could check the pastures, and it made that ride-around very humid. La tarde del 1/9/2024. Llovió antes de que pudiéramos chequear los campos y hizo ese paseo muy húmedo. 
Step #2: The cooking. After roasting the chops in a 250 F oven for 45-50 minutes, I seared them in the skillet outside of Jacobhouse. I seared them over high heat for 30-45 seconds a side. Paso #2: La cocción. Después de hornear las chuletas en un horno de 250 grados Fahrenheit durante 45-50 minutos, las doré en la sartén afuera de mi casita. Las doré a fuego alto durante 30 o 45 segundos por lado. 
Step #3: The feast. We ate the lamb chops accompanied by a green salad drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette. Paso #3: La fiesta. Comimos las chuletas de cordero acompañadas de una ensalada verde rociada con una vinagreta balsámica.

I used an aloe leaf to treat a burn on my leg. It relieved the pain (there was not a lot) and I think it will help with the healing process. Utilicé una hoja de aloe para tratar una quemadura en mi pierna. Me alivió el dolor (no había mucho) y creo que me ayudará con el proceso de sanar.

This is Belgian Blue beef brisket. I seasoned it with olive oil, bourbon-infused balsamic, Sicilian spices, black pepper, and salt. I also cut it so the marinade could permeate the meat.
