Week of October 22, 2023 – Fresh cheese, fine weather, & first bite of food.

(Above: Fresh cheese. Padre used this cheese on top of his pizza, and it tasted very good. Queso fresco. Mi padre usé esta queso encima de su pizza y lo supo muy bien.)

Final Note: This is the interesting quote behind an experiment that Padre and I initiated on October 28. We follow the guidelines it sets for the first 45 seconds of every meal (may increase to 1 minute in the future).

“Grace is the first mouthful of each course – chewed and chewed until there’s nothing left of it. And all the time you’re chewing you pay attention to the flavour of the food, to it’s consistency and temperature, to the pressures on your teeth and the feel of the muscles in your jaws.”

  1. Multiple aspects of interest this week, like homemade butter, a sunrise or two, taking a minute to appreciate an experience and even more so those you get to explore all of it with. Gracias hijo.
