Final Note: A couple quotes granting a little more insight about Marcus Stiverius.

“Some protest and some fight while others sulk or simply accept it as continuance of their unlucky lot. Once in a hundredmoon, though, you find that one man weary of the world, of life… of ALL the NEEDLESS complexity. ‘Tis he who finds freedom in my fetters, and ‘tis for him, I pursue my trade.”

 – Slavemaster Marcus Bodante Stiverius

“Whether he always believed as much or if he has lied for so long as to delude himself, I could not determine. What I did note, is that Un’Mei treats the zealot Slavemaster as equal. Other than her, I feel that not even the crown prince of Fahrendel much less an envoy of my status is safe where that man is concerned. I leave this message with the captain of the Dance for in the case that I do not return… not as a means of applying for aid – DO NOT ATTEMPT – but as a warning to those who sent me.”

– written by Phineas Herr, envoy of Dair Kronig, Sovereign of Trinacria
