Lunch of 6/25/2023 consisted of fried eggs & beef topped with salsa verde and cilantro. This fare was accompanied by a green salad made by Padre and dressed by Madre. El almuerzo de 25/6/2023 consistía de una mezcla frita de huevos y rez cubierta con salsa verde y cilantro. Esta comida estaba acompañada de una ensalada verde. La ensalada fue preparada por mi padre, y mi madre hizo el aliño. 
A dessert of sliced apple sprinkled with cinnamon and accompanied by a spoonful of Greek yogurt. The center of the apple was garnished with a leaf of cilantro. These steaks are prepared for roasting and searing (reverse-searing). The only spice I used was salt. Estos bistecs están preparados para asar y sellar. La sola especia yo usé fue sal.

A morning project: Padre, Wag, and I installed a new air conditioner in the office portion of the freezer room. Un proyecto matutino: mi padre, mi tío, y yo instalamos un aire acondicionado nuevo en la porción oficina del cuarto de los congeladores. 
Madre and I got sushi from Sushi Bistro for lunch. All of the rolls were delicious, and the soup, too. Mi madre y yo conseguimos sushi del Sushi Bistro para almorzar. Todos de los rollos estaban deliciosos y la sopa también.

the first activity of 6/28/2023: I prepared some steaks for dinner. I simply took them from their packages and seasoned them with olive oil and salt. We enjoyed lunch at Hacienda Colombiana #2 today. I ate the pechuqueso (cheese-covered chicken breast), salad, and fried yucca. Disfrutamos el almuerzo en La Hacienda Colombiana #2 hoy. Yo comí el pechuqueso, ensalada, y yucca frita. 
In the afternoon of 6/28/2023, the day was so hot that Wag wanted to stay in the office because of the air condition. However, he was still on the clock, so he massaged the feet of Padre. It was ridiculous. En la tarde de 28/6/2023, el día hizo tan mucho calor que mi tío quiso quedarse en la oficina por el aire acondicionado. Pero, el todavia estaba en el reloj, así él masajó los pies de mi papá. Fue ridiculoso.

The morning of 6/29/2023: Maribel and I went to Juniper Springs. The day was very hot and humid; it was perfect for swimming. La mañana de 29/6/2023: Maribel y yo fuimos al Manantiales de Juniper. El día estaba caluroso y húmedo; fue perfecto para nadar.

After our trip to Juniper Springs, we went to San’s Pizzeria. There, we enjoyed a lot of food, including: a Greek salad, a pizza with spicy chicken and jalapeños on it, and lasagna. Después de nuestro viaje a los manantiales de Juniper, fuimos a San’s Pizzeria. Allí, disfrutamos mucho comida, incluyendo: una ensalada griega, una pizza con pollo picante y jalepeños, y lasagna.

This type of grasshopper is called an “Eastern Lubber Grasshopper”. It is new to this area, but it is native to the Southeastern United States. Este tipo de saltamontes se llama “Eastern Lubber Grasshopper”. Es nueva en esta zona, pero este inseto es nativo al sureste de los Estados Unidos. 
I harvested many tomatoes from the Jacobhouse garden today. (6/30/2023) Yo coseché muchos jitomates de mi jardín hoy. (30/6/2023)

The ingredients on top of the dough were constituted of olive oil, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, fresh tomatoes from the garden, and dried basil.
