7/30/2023: Today began in the high 70s and warmed into the mid 90s before afternoon cloudcover reduced those temperatures into the 80s.

This afternoon, I filled 10 bags with compost. Esta tarde, yo llené diez bolsas con abono.

Dinner of 7/30/2023: A F2 Wagyu roast accompanied by a green salad of arugula and romaine, a bowl of homemade BBQ sauce, and a glass of red wine. Dinner of 7/31/2023: An oven-baked Belgian Blue burger-steak. This was accompanied by a salad of avocado, cucumber, red cabbage, green cabbage, tomato, and olive in a tangy vinaigrette. Also, there was a bowl with a mixture of sour cream and horseradish for dipping the beef. La cena de 31/7/2023: Un bistec de res molida de Azul Belga al horno. Esta estaba acompañada de una ensalada de aguacate, pepino, repollo rojo, repollo verde, tomate y aceituna en una vinagreta ácida. También, había un bol con una mezcla de crema ácida y rábano picante para mojar la res.

8/1/2023: Today began in the mid 70s and warmed into the mid 90s. Clouds did not arrive until very late in the afternoon, so it was a very hot day.

Lunch consisted of a fried mixture of eggs, shredded chicken, mozzarella, and tomato sauce. This mixture was accompanied by a salad made by Padre. El almuerzo consistía de una mezcla frita de huevos, pollo rallado, mozzarella y salsa de jitomate. Esta mezcla estaba acompañada de una ensalada verde hecha por mi padre. 
Dinner of 8/1/2023: A Belgian Blue burger-steak accompanied by a salad of cucumber avocado, tomato, red cabbage, green cabbage, and olives in a tangy vinaigrette. For dipping there was a bowl with a combination of sour cream and horseradish. La cena de 1/8/2023: Un bistec de res molida de Azul Belga acompañada de una ensalada de pepino, aguacate, tomate, repollo rojo, repollo verde y aceitunas en una vinagreta ácida. Para mojar, había un bol con una combinación de crema ácida y rábano picante.

Today, Maribel and I went to the park called Scott Springs in Ocala, Florida. There, we played chess while we were eating pears that Maribel brought and cookies that I cooked earlier in the morning. The weather was a little bit hot, but we enjoyed ourselves quite a lot. Hoy, Maribel y yo fuimos al parque llamado Scott Springs en Ocala, Florida. Allí, jugamos ajedrez mientrás comíamos unas peras que Maribel trajo y galletas que yo cociné más temprano en la mañana. El clima estaba un poco caluroso, pero nos divertimos mucho.

Maribel and I enjoyed our lunch at San’s Pizzeria. We shared two small pizzas and a large salad. My pizza had five different types of meat, and Maribel’s pizza had chicken, bacon, and a Ranch dressing. Maribel y yo disfrutamos nuestro almuerzo en San’s Pizzeria. Compartimos dos pizzas pequeñas y una ensalada grande. Mi pizza tenía cinco tipos de carne, y la pizza de Maribel tenía pollo, tocino y un aliño Ranch.

These are four beef shortribs that I prepared for dinner. I massaged them with salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and coriander. Estas son cuatro costillitas de res que yo preparé para la cena. Las masajeé con sal, pimienta negra, salsa inglesa, y semilla de cilantro en polvo. 
for lunch, Padre, Madre, and I went to Hacienda Colombiana #2. There, I enjoyed grilled chicken, salad, and fried yucca. There was a lot of food today. Para almorzar, mis padres y yo fuimos a la Hacienda Colombiana #2. Allí, yo disfruté pollo a la plancha, ensalada y yuca frita. Había mucha comida hoy. 
In the afternoon of 8/3/2023, many cows were spending time in the shade, but there were a few crazy cows grazing in the sun. En la tarde del 3/8/2023, muchas vacas estaban pasando tiempo en la sombra, pero había un poco de vacas locas pastando en el sol.

8/4/2023: . Today began in the mid 70s and warmed into the mid 90s. Close proximity of storms in the afternoon reduced temperatures into the 80s.

Final Note: It is presently 8:57 PM on the night of 8/6/2023. In about 8 hours and 30 minutes, I’ll be rising from bed to embark upon a vacation to México with Padre and Madre. It has been downright roasty, so it will be splendid to escape the heat… and of course to see my brother! ¡Buen viaje a nosotros!
