Lunch consisted of a fried mixture of eggs and mozzarella cheese. This mixture was accompanied by a green salad made by Padre. El almuerzo consistía en una mezcla frita de huevos y queso mozzarella. Esta mezcla estaba acompañada de una ensalada verde hecha por mi padre.

This afternoon I installed three more trusses on the roof of the Guesthouse. Esta tarde instalé tres cerchas más en el techo de Guesthouse.

Dinner consisted of a romaine lettuce and red cabbage salad topped with thinly sliced pan-seared Wagyu beef, banana peppers, and Swiss cheese. This is a red apple my brother gave us. I sliced it and sprinkled it with cinnamon. It had the best texture and flavor of any apple this year. Esta es una manzana roja que nos regaló mi hermano. La corte en rodajas y la espolvoreé con canela. Tenía la mejor textura y sabor de caulquier manzana de este año.

A morning activity (12/27/2024): Padre, Wag, and I gave hydrating fluids to a calf to balance the acidity of its blood. Una actividad matutina (27/12/2024): Mi padre, mi tío y yo le dimos fluidos hidrantes a un ternerito para balancear la acidez de su sangre. 
Today electricians arrived to connect the ground wire of this electrical panel to the container. Hoy llegaron electricistas para conectar el cable de tierra de este panel eléctrico al contenedor.

I made apple puffs for the store on the morning of 12/28/2024. They looked and tasted like little apple pies. Hice hojaldres de manzana para la tienda en la mañana del 28 de 12 de 2024. Ellos parecían y sabían como pequeños pasteles de manzana . 
Lunch consisted of a fried mixture of eggs and smoked beef. This was accompanied by a colorful salad made by my father. El almuerzo consistía en una mezcla frita de huevos y res ahumada. Esta estaba acompañada de una ensalada colorida hecha por mi padre. 
Dinner consisted of a Wagyu London Broil accompanied by a green salad. The salad was topped with slices of avocado and the beef was topped with slices of tomme cheese. La cena consistía en un London Broil de Wagyu acompañado de una ensalada verde. La ensalada estaba cubierta con rodajas de aguacate y la res estaba cubierta con rodajas de queso tomme.

Final Note: I like the idea of having free will, and I appreciate how the illusion of it is often so powerful that, unless conscious of that illusion, it does not reduce the significance of perceived decision-making. Nevertheless, I also find it interesting that, when conscious of the fact that all actions have roots in a combination of present and antecedent conditions (i.e. there is no free will), intention becomes a form of prophecy bearing an exceptionally high likelihood of occurrence, and it becomes an antecedent condition in its own right.
I intend to weed the garden, and it happens.
Quite the holiday week, weeding your garden on Christmas… unique to say the least. Tremendous food and I’m guessing 2025 will be quite the adventure. As for intention, I’m a believer.
