(Above: Beef, vegetables, and rice. A meal of excellent texture and taste. Quite filling, too.)
Active Summary: This morning, after tending to the early morning regimen, I worked on school and then ventured to the old milk-room to begin wiring a light. The latter task did not last long before I needed to had back inside once again and meet Padre for a visit at his studio. A small vegetable harvest followed, and then a delicious lunch of salad and beef/vegetables & rice. At returning to Jacobhouse, I worked on another Master Blend email, set up my T-Mobile test drive unit, and rested.
Afternoon activities consisted of vaccinating a few calves, checking herd health, and finishing the light installation from earlier with Padre’s and Madre’s help. Unfortunately, the ancient motion-detector light did not work, so tomorrow I have another project planned.
TIL: Today I learned that cellular internet will work for Jacobhouse. I ran a few speed tests, and I am running at about 6 mbps download and 3 mbps upload on the T-Mobile network. Compare this to Centurylink’s 1.67 mbps download and 0.5 mbps upload.
Commentary: What with Master Blend and school taking up more than their fair share of time, I have unfortunately not been able to contribute as much time to these entries. Such is the case for today when I must leave this short video instead of speaking further of my quandary. People do not want to read complaints anyway… or at least I know I wouldn’t.
Final Note: Tomorrow I will be wiring an outlet in place of the light that I wired today. Into this outlet, I can plug in a droplight or a couple LED strip lights like Padre and Madre both suggested.
