(Above: The southern opening, now awaiting its new window. )
Active Summary: After waking this morning, I set about the daily regimen of washing clothes and performing calisthenic exercises. These activities were ensued by a beef pasture check with Padre and then about an hour’s worth of IV’ing calves. I tended to the Master Blend freezer room after that, cleaning (sweeping) it, removing the soon-to-be-installed window from its box, and then removing the old Thermoking freezer / airconditioner machine from the southern side with Padre’s aid.* I returned to Jacobhouse soon after this to tend to writing, met/satiated a Master Blend customer midway through, and then ate lunch with Padre and Madre at the studio.
(7:20 PM Update:) More writing-time followed lunch, after which I set about finding my high school information. Florida Virtual School has been through many changes since I went there over ten years ago, so my records were not easily accessed. I commenced to spend about half an hour on the phone attempting to acquire them. Alas, this was not accomplished, but I will supposedly be receiving a call from them tomorrow or the day after.
Either way, school shenanigans were ensued by cattle-related activities which included: catching a couple cows amidst a flurry of dust as they entered the barn, helping catch/wean four calves, IV’ing four calves, and performing the duskly beef herd check. Final outdoor activities included filling 12 Moo Magic bags with Padre’s aid and gathering some kale for my dinner salad this evening. Now it is time to finish this entry, make dinner, and then enjoy a couple hours of leisure before I sleep.
Final Note: With the old air-conditioner now removed, I intend to find a way to mount the available window into that opening.
*We removed it via simply chaining it to the bucket of the payloader and pulling it out.
