Active Summary: To begin this day, I performed calisthenics, wrote, and checked the beef pasture with Padre. This was ensued by my tending both gardens and then by my returning indoors. Inside, I wrote for about two hours, tended to various Master Blend correspondence, and cut up another seedless watermelon. Lunch followed soon after and consisted of a pan-seared burger-steak, some cucumber salad put together by Padre / dressed by Madre, and a bowl of watermelon.
(7:35 PM Update:) This afternoon began with some more Master Blend-related tasks, reading for a brief time*, and a 20-minute rest in the Jacobhouse bed. I next ventured outdoors where I helped with various bovine-related activities, including: checking the feed pasture / barn for ailing calves, delivering more grain to the same Wagyu-mother from yesterday, and after an intermission of helping Padre drill some holes in some poles for his sail-shade project & rearranging the freezers, we both checked the beef pasture one more time.
Afterward, I worked on installing a generator cord in Jacobhouse. It was a fairly easy process involving the severing of an extension cord, insertion into one of the utility pipes on the underside of the container, and reconnecting the extension cord via wire-nuts and electrical tape. The only shenanigan throughout the whole procedure were the tests at the end**. Now that the cord is implemented, though, I will only need to plug it into the generator for easy power.
Final Note: Tomorrow I will be receiving and sorting a beef shipment within the Master Blend freezer room. It’s going to be a busy day, but I always enjoy seeing the new inventory and selecting the choicest bits for lunch or another meal soon-to-come.
*As per Padre’s suggestion, I have begun ‘The Idiot’ by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
** The cord did not seem to be carrying any current, even after I had plugged it into the outdoor GFCI outlet (which according to the tester, was functioning). However, when wrapping the cord around into Jacobhouse and plugging it in the kitchen, the power-indicator lit up. Apparently, it was the GFCI outlet that was faulty.
