Maximum production.

Active Summary: This morning began with a somewhat chilly* beef pasture check which was ensued by writing in Jacobhouse for about an hour. After that, I returned outdoors and began working on plumbing in the water heater within Madre’s workshop. Padre helped me plan it out some, I traveled to Sparr with Wag to procure some parts, and by about noontime, the pipe layout was planned. My final task for the morning was harvesting greens for lunch.

(7:37 PM Update:) This afternoon I completed many tasks that I will commence to list in chronological order. I: tended to a Master Blend beef trade, wrote a couple emails, reordered my phone and service (this time successfully), helped with a few cattle-related activities, aided Padre in moving a malfunctioning lift-bed out of this studio and in moving a functioning lift-bed into his studio, performed a beef pasture check, cut/dry-fit the majority of the CPVC for the water heater / sink / washing machine (with Padre’s help), and finally I returned to Jacobhouse where I ordered a shade (more in TIL) for the front door before writing this entry.

TIL: Today I learned that there is such a thing as a cordless roller shade. To draw it down, simply pull down, and to put it up, pull down to unhitch the lock-mechanism and allow it to furl upward. This is perfect for a door window’s shade, because there are no cords getting snagged or whipped about when opening and closing the door.

Commentary: It has been a busy day, it’s getting quite late, and I have yet to go make some delicious dinner at Oldhouse. So, instead of writing a commentary, I shall leave a picture of what I produce!

Dinner tonight: 2 potatoes and 1 sweet potato sliced thin. I placed them in a cast iron skillet, and then put another cast iron skillet on top. Using high heat and plenty of olive oil, I was able to get them simultaneously soft and crunchy. Finally I topped them with washed mozzarella, eggs, minced garlic, and arugula.

Final Note: Tomorrow morning I plan on visiting the Harbison Farm Market, helping Padre with some form of cattle shenanigan, and beginning the process of sanding/gluing all the pipes that we prepared today within Madre’s workshop.

*It was not quite as frigid as yesterday morning, because the sun was out and the wind was not nearly so rampant.
