10/19/2020 – First year anniversary.

(Above: This is a picture of the bed I went to sleep in last night and the bed that I also slept in for the first time one year ago. It has been a swift passage of time chock full of change, and throughout that passed year, my perception of Jacobhouse has only improved.)

Summary: Today began with calisthenics, house-neatening tasks, and piano practice. This was followed by a beef pasture inspection with Padre and then by about thirty minutes of gardening (planting radishes). I next returned indoors where I wrote for 2.5 hours before venturing into Ocala with Madre* to procure lunch from Sushi Bistro. The midday meal occurred at 1:25 PM and consisted of delicious sushi, onion soup, and salad.

(7:12 PM Update): Afternoon activities began with reviewing more PoA coursework and a brief repose. This was followed by my venturing outdoors and tending to a couple Master Blend (and compost) customers. Farm activities ensued and consisted of chasing a few bovines to the barn, capturing those bovines for vaccination & treatment, and checking the beef pasture for ailing and active creatures. I next helped Madre with her office-project, tending to tasks that primarily consisted of drilling a few holes, cutting conduit, fastening an electrical box (for switches) onto a 2×4 wall brace, and running a few wires for her bathroom fan and light. To conclude the afternoon, I walked through the heifer and beef pastures with Padre for a concluding inspection.

Final Note: Now that I have returned indoors, I intend to submit this container log, complete a little bit more PoA review if there is time, and journey over to the studio for a light dinner of watermelon and salad.
