(Above: This morning’s gardening consisted of shoveling / arranging the compost into rows.)
Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and some brief research into a more permanent internet solution*. This was ensued by a beef pasture inspection with Padre and about 30 minutes of gardening. I next returned indoors where I wrote for about 1.5 hours and tended to some house-neatening tasks before visiting Padre at the studio for about 1 hour. Lunch occurred soon after (at 1:00 PM) and consisted of grilled sirloin tip steaks along with plenty of greens.
(5:07 PM Update:) Afternoon activities began with PoA coursework (a quiz and midterm review), a brief repose, and about 30 minutes of writing. This was followed by my venturing outdoors to help with a variety of tasks, including: walking a weak calf from the field to the barn for selenium treatment**, checking the pasture for ailing & active creatures, and venturing to Sparr Farm Supply with Padre and Wag to acquire milk replacer powder (after finding the old milk replacer to be filled with red flour beetles and larvae). I next returned indoors where I input the majority of this entry before slicing a watermelon to consume with dinner.
Final Note: Now that I have returned from the final beef pasture inspection, I plan on submitting this entry and enjoying some leisure.
