10/7/2020 – Baking some apples (no sugar added).

(Above: Apples prepared for baking. Details for specific ingredients may be found below.)

Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and writing. This was followed by a beef pasture inspection with Padre, and about 20 minutes of gardening. A return indoors was ensued by my writing for 2.5 hours and about 30 minutes of PoA coursework. To conclude morning activities, I grilled a Wagyu cubed steak and seven corn tortillas for a taco lunch.

(7:17 PM Update:) This afternoon was initiated with 1 more hour of PoA coursework, the unloading of a beef shipment into the Master Blend freezers, and a 20 minute repose in the Jacobhouse bed. I next ventured outdoors where I helped search for a wean-calf in the field, applied JB Water Weld to a few protruding bolts on a dump trailer*, planned more plumbing for Madre’s office**, procured parts with Padre from Sparr Farm Supply, began gathering tools and more supplies for the upcoming tasks, and performed a final beef pasture inspection with Padre.

On returning to Jacobhouse, I determined that I wanted something sweet for dinner. To maintain my low-sugar diet, I decided to make baked apples. This consisted of slicing four apples, heating 4 tbsp. coconut oil, mixing 1 tsp. cinammon into that heated oil, and then tossing the apple chunks in that mixture before baking them at 350 F for 45 minutes. I have tasted a piece already… it was superb.

Final Note: After the conclusion of this entry, I will be able to partake in leisure. I look forward to that quite a lot.

*Hopefully this will facilitate the easy engagement and disengagement of the tarp that is often pulled over the potato payload beneath.

** The upcoming project consists of adding the water temperature (on/off) knob to the shower as well as a receptacle for the shower head’s arm.
