(Above: I fed it a couple times when exiting Jacobhouse. Now it waits for me.)
Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and the beginning of Jacobhouse’s weekly cleaning. This was followed by a beef pasture inspection with Padre and then by my attempting to repair a slight roof leak*. After tending to that leak, I finished cleaning Jacobhouse and commenced to write for a little over two hours. Lunch occurred at 1:10 PM and consisted of: baked potatoes, pulled pork, and springmix salad.
(5:32 PM Update:) It was a light afternoon on the farm this day. I did not venture outdoors until 3:45 PM, and from there I embarked with Padre upon a lengthy walk around the beef pasture to check for ailing creatures and missing calves. We found everyone faring well and in the correct location and thus returned to the farm’s front portion. There, we enjoyed some seltzer water, and I replaced water-can #17 with #18.
I next returned to Jacobhouse where I tended to Master Blend correspondence, wrote the majority of this entry, made dough & chopped mushrooms for pizza, and fed Doug.
Final Note: After concluding this entry, I intend to work on the Master Blend website and school. Dinner and leisure shall come afterward.
*It rained quite a lot yesterday, and throughout that time, a single drip of water managed to seep through and creep down the south wall of my office area. I clambered atop the roof today and patched over a couple possible causes with steel-stick, and I also patched over the location from which the water is leaking inside. If the fix does not work, I may need to pressure-wash and repaint the top of Jacobhouse when dry weather is here again… and that’s if I feel a single drip warrants such effort.
