Summary: Today began with calisthenics, writing, a beef pasture inspection with Padre, and IV’ing a sick calf. This was ensued by my returning to Jacobhouse, tending to clothes / neatening of the abode, and writing for about 2.25 hours before commencing with pizza preparations (spreading dough, preparing/applying toppings & sauce, and clean up). Lunch occurred at about 12:50 PM and consisted of four-cheese-and-sausage pizza and springmix salad.

  • A 4 cheese pizza (Mozzarella, Gruyere, Cheddar, & Parmesan Reggiano) topped with pork sausage.
  • Today’s lunch: delicious pizza with a plenteous amount of vegetation to the side.

(5:25 PM Update:) After lunch, I cut up the two final mini-melons, wrote for about twenty-five minutes, and took a brief rest. This was ensued by tending to a Master Blend customer and helping with various bovine activities, including: catching cows for vaccination / embryo transfer, checking the pasture for ailing creatures, and IV’ing the same sick calf from this morning. Now I have returned to Jacobhouse where I am finishing up today’s entry before heading out for the day’s final beef pasture inspection.

  • Those are not calves at the calf feed trough.
  • The first ET (Embryo Transfer) Beefmaster calf. The newborn can already be easily distinguished from the Wagyu calves by its glossy red color and very long ears.

Final Note: Later this evening, I intend to have a supper of springmix salad and watermelon. This shall be ensued by leisure time—likely the playing of Path of Exile.
