Active Summary: Today began with writing, calisthenics, and beef herd observation with Padre. This was ensued by my return to Jacobhouse where I wrote some more, tended to various cooking tasks (cutting watermelon, feeding Doug the sourdough starter, making BBQ sauce and preparing shortribs for lunch. I also spent about 20 minutes optimizing my internet connections so I could have the patch to Path of Exile downloaded completely for 4:00 PM when it launches. At about 11:15 AM, I visited Padre in the studio for a little while before heading back to Jacobhouse at ~12:15 PM where I commenced to cook some Master Blend short-ribs for lunch.
Picanha-style short-ribs. Padre and I both agreed that they were as good as if not better than our most recent Top Sirloin. That’s saying quite a lot. 
A piece of medium-rare short-rib accompanied by homemade BBQ sauce. 
Last night’s Pastry-topped Ratatouille. I put a little bit less salt in the pastry portion this time, and it was downright delicious.
(3:00 PM Update:) Lunch was a tremendous combination of picanha-style short-ribs, fresh cucumber salad, and top tier watermelon. Afterward I returned to Jacobhouse where I tended to the day’s few remaining chores, read, and rested. Before playing some Path of Exile, I ventured to the Master Blend freezer room where I procured a couple bottles of seltzer for the day and evening to come.
Final Note: All that remains to this day is leisure. It’s a pleasant feeling, that. As I wait for the servers to come up, I’ll be reading more of the ‘The Idiot’ by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
