Tropical weather is imminent.

Active Summary: After waking this day, I performed the daily regimen of writing, calisthenic exercises, and a beef pasture check with Padre. This was ensued by my taking about 15-20 minutes to tend both gardens and then by my retrieving the laptop from Jacobhouse and bringing it to the freezer room. There, I wrote for about 1.5 hours before tending to various Master Blend tasks, including: a couple website modifications, fulfilling a few orders, tending to a couple customers, and managing inventory. To conclude the morning, I grilled a lunch of potato slices and Master Blend cubed steak.

My picture of lunch turned out a tad blurry, so I made it into an oil-painting.
Front left: Grilled potato wedges. Front Right: Slightly mangled cubed steak (I cooked it from frozen and found midway through that there were paper separators attached to the beef). Back: Kale and romaine salad topped with cucumber slices.

(7:19 PM Update:) This afternoon began with a brief rest at Jacobhouse, writing in the Freezer room, and tending to two more beef customers. Afterward, I helped with various farm activities, including: feeding, the checking/catching/treating of a few calves, the weaning of some other calves, and performing a beef pasture check with Padre*. Now, I am in the freezer room tending to this entry before finishing up a few more Master Blend tasks for the day.

Final Note: Tonight I will likely be eating watermelon, leftover salad, and some cold & savory potato slices dunked in Aneta’s mustard. In regard to tomorrow’s activities, Madre and I are leaving around 9:30 AM with the intent of picking up generators and propane tanks from Home Depot**, stopping by Publix for a few groceries, and procuring some lunch from the Sushi Bistro.

*We treated another calf there, as well. There is presently some form of virus causing a cough in almost all of our calves.

**Preparation for the upcoming tropical storm weather.
