Active Summary: Today began with some farm tasks (bucket moving), a beef pasture check with Padre, calisthenic exercises, and writing. This was ensued by my a visit to the studio and then by my stopping by the garden* before heading to the Master Blend freezer room and tidying it up while waiting for a customer**. The cleaning consisted of wiping up all the freezers / horizontal surfaces with a damp towel, sweeping the floor, and removing excess ice from the freezers. Following all this, I returned to Jacobhouse where I grilled a round steak from folded & frozen to a near-perfect medium rare in 12 minutes, and I procured the potatoes that had been baking for an hour. Lunch at the studio came soon after.

(7:21 PM Update:) This afternoon began with a brief rest and some reading. Then, I ventured outside where I helped with quite a few cattle-related activities, including: feeding / catching / treating bovines, aiding in the transfer of a couple embryos, pitch-forking feed, and checking the beef pasture for ailing creatures. After all that, I stopped by the garden for twenty minutes and neatened a few of the rows (plucked grass from the Malabar Summer Spinach row and pulled up the two remaining rapini). Now, I am tending to today’s entry before heading over to the studio for a dinner of barley bread, tomato stew, and a little bit of Aneta’s cabbage salad.

Final Note: Tomorrow morning, I plan on running the sprinklers so I may plant some zucchini seeds in garden #1.
