(Above: Chokladbollar. This time I added a tiny pinch of cayenne and included about 2 ounces of walnuts which were toasted with the oats that make up the base for these delicacies.)
Active Summary (11:43 AM): This day began with my rising from bed, performing calisthenics, writing for about 30 minutes and then heading outdoors to perform the morningly beef pasture check. I followed this with more writing, some freezer room reorganization*, and then a journey down to the farm market. This was ensued by my returning, cleaning, and putting away the vegetation. Now I am writing while waiting for leftover Aneta’s stews/soups to reheat in the oven. It smells glorious.
(6:51 PM Update:) Afternoon activities entailed a bit of writing, piano playing, and almost an hour’s worth of computer-related leisure time. This was followed by farm activities which included: feeding bovines, a herd health check, spraying for flies (which seem to be quite prevalent at the moment), and performing the beef pasture check with Padre. After that, I moved a few boxes of beef in the freezer room, completely clearing out 3 freezers. At the end of it all, I returned to Jacobhouse where I took a little time to make some delicious** chokladbollar.
Final Note: Once I have the freezers fully organized and the Master Blend freezer room somewhat prepared for customers, I shall tend to other tasks such as those I mentioned yesterday and a couple addition ones such as putting up a piece of wire so the bovines cannot eat the cucumber seedlings and filling a couple Moo-Magic bags so I can transplant a couple pecan saplings that I have found growing in inopportune places.
*I placed beef from three freezers into one, and later on today, I plan on have 2.5 empty freezers ready for the new stock on Tuesday. (6:51 PM Update:) There are 3 empty freezers.
**This time I added a tiny pinch of cayenne (just enough to add a tinge of heat but not enough to add a peppery flavor) because it is supposed to help accentuate the chocolatey flavor. From the preliminary taste test, I would say that it was an excellent addition.
