A repaired Magic Chef.

(Above: Everything back in its place and the floor vacuumed & wiped down. Roller-shade closed because sun was shining in and warming up my abode. )

Active Summary: Today I began with preparing and placing some Angus shortribs in the electric smoker. I followed this with performing the early morning regimen of calisthenics, writing, and a beef pasture check with Padre. On returning to Jacobhouse, I fetched the appliance step and set the washer/dryer on it in preparation for the appliance technician later in the day. More writing came next and was ensued by a bit of work on the final discussion post of my Macroecnomics class.

The second portion of morning began with my visiting Padre at the studio for a little while and then by my putting some groceries that Madre procured into the Jacobhouse refrigerator. Gardening came next where I cleaned up the Garden #1’s east row before planting the Malabar summer spinach. To conclude the morning, I retrieved the shortribs out of the electric smoker and brought them over to Padre’s studio for a lunch of delicious beef and Aneta’s cabbage salad.

(7:08 PM Update:) Afternoon activities began with my tending to a Master Blend beef customer inquiry and then by making a couple online orders* for Master Blend / Farm shenanigans. Next, arrived the technician. Over the course of an hour he fixed the washer/dryer** and showed me how to remove an internal vent-cover for when I eventually need to clean the drain. The technician departed soon afterward, and that is when I began to help with farm activities. These included: checking the beef herd for ailments, helping move some steers to the lot beside Jacobhouse, helping extricate some heifers from a mud mound, helping give oral electrolytes to a couple calves, and performing the evening beef-herd check with Padre. On returning to Jacobhouse, I cleaned up the floor and got everything set back in place.

Final Note: Tomorrow I would like to re-initiate the process of improving Master Blend’s freezer room. I may start with the little window on the north side.

*An inexpensive price labeler to pre-price the beef for visitors and some T-25 star-drive drill bits for putting in deck screws.

**It was a blown fuse, perhaps from my attempting to dry too large of a load of clothing or towels.
