Active Summary: This morning, I drove around with Padre through the beef pasture, checked the Master Blend freezers, and wrote for over an hour before venturing to Ocala with Madre and my brother. In town, we stopped by: Triple A to procure a couple International Driving permits, Sam’s Club to obtain some groceries, Publix to acquire specialty ingredients, and Sushi Bistro for lunch.
(7:19 PM Update:) After farm activities, I began the process of mopping the freezer room’s walls (removed many cobwebs in the process). This was followed by my return to Jacobhouse where I took my last American History exam for the semester.
TIL: Today I learned the exact width of the seaweed paper that is utilized in Sushi Bistro’s plain fish sushi rolls. The width is that of my middle finger’s length: 3.75″. The rice layer was about 1/8″ thick, and on top of that, was placed a generous helping of fish that must have been between 1/2″ and 3/4″ thick.
Commentary: Though I was not looking forward to the Triple A IDP process, I found our visit there to be both productive and pleasantly brief. To add to the town-trip’s merit, I was quite happy to procure a turkey from Publix for a Thanksgiving experiment, and even more enthused by our visit to Sushi Bistro where we acquired a truly delicious lunch.
Final Note: Tomorrow and/or later today, I plan on locating the mop that I utilized early in the construction of Jacobhouse and then using it to wipe down the walls of the Master Blend freezer room. The intention is to make every surface within that chamber paintable. I should note, however, that before painting the ceiling, I will need to get on the roof and see if I can find out if there is still a leak in the ridge-cap. If there is, I shall fix it.
