Lunch consisted of a fried mixture of eggs and mozzarella cheese. This mixture was topped with Cholula hot sauce and accompanied by a green salad made by Padre. Today Victor installed an electric fence outside my house. He did this so the cows wouldn’t scratch themselves against the fence. Hoy Víctor instaló una cerca eléctrica fuera de mi casa. Lo hizo para que las vacas no se rascaran contra la valla. 
This is a mushroom I found outside my garden. I think it is a type of bolete. It has many tubes containing countless spores. Este es un hongo que encontré afuera de mi jardín. Creo que es un tipo de bolete. Tiene muchas tuberías que contienen innumerables esporas. 
Dinner consisted of a lettuce and cabbage salad topped with Belgian Blue ground beef, avocado, jarred yellow peppers, and a slice of Tomme cheese. This salad was dressed with homemade barbecue sauce and a drizzle of olive oil. La cena consistía en una ensalada de lechuga y repollo cubierta con res molida de azul belga, aguacate, pimientos amarillos enfrascados y una rodaja de queso Tomme. Esta ensalada estaba aderezada con salsa barbacoa casera y un poco de aceite de oliva.

This morning I went to the slaughterhouse to pick up an order of beef. These Denver steaks were part of that order. We’ll be eating them tonight. Esta mañana fui al matadero para conseguir un pedido de res. Estos bistecs de Denver eran parte de ese pedido. Los comeremos esta noche.

For dinner we had a reverse-seared F1 Wagyu Denver steak accompanied by a green salad topped with a slice of Tomme cheese. There was also a bowl of homemade barbecue sauce for dipping and a horn of red wine for drinking. Lunch consisted of roast chicken seasoned with Sicilian spices, salt and black pepper. This was accompanied by a green salad made by my father. El almuerzo consistía en pollo asado aderezado con especias sicilianas, sal y pimienta negra. Este estaba acompañado de una ensalada verde hecha por mi padre.

I made this pizza for dinner on 11/13/2024. It was topped with sliced F1 Wagyu beef, red onion, and green pepper. The Swiss cheese was from Hawthorne Creek Creamery and the crust was sourdough. 11/14/2024: Today began in the low 60s and warmed into the high 70s. Mostly sunny, but there were some clouds and a slight drizzle in the afternoon.
Morning of 11/14/2024: I tended to the garden outside the Master Blend store. The chiltepín plant has new leaves and the carrots are growing. Lunch consisted of a fried mixture of eggs and mozzarella. This mixture was accompanied by a green salad made by Padre. El almuerzo consistía en una mezcla frita de huevos y mozzarella. Esta mezcla estaba acompañada de una ensalada verde hecha por mi padre. 
After lunch, I made a stew for dinner. This stew contained Wagyu beef, banana peppers, chicken broth, a packet of ranch seasoning, black pepper, and fresh rosemary. I browned the beef in the pan outside Jacobhouse and then combined all the ingredients and roasted them for 4 hours in a 300 degree F oven. Después del almuerzo, preparé un guiso para la cena. Este guiso contenía res de Wagyu, pimientos amarillos enfrascados, caldo de pollo, un paquete de sazón de Ranch, pimienta negra y romero fresco. Doré la res en la sartén afuera de mi casita y luego combiné todos los ingredientes y los horneé por 4 horas en un horno a 300 grados F. 
Dinner consisted of the aforementioned stew on a salad of lettuce, green cabbage, avocado, and banana peppers. This salad was drizzled with a dressing of homemade barbecue sauce and beef jus. Lunch of 11/15/2024 consisted of a lettuce, carrot, and green cabbage salad topped with a mixture of last night’s beef and rice. All of this was topped with a sliced avocado and a balsamic vinaigrette. El almuerzo del 15/11/2024 consistía en una ensalada de lechuga, zanahoria y repollo verde cubierta con una mezcla de res de la noche anterior y arroz. Todo esto estaba cubierto con un aguacate en rodajas y una vinagreta balsámica.

This steak was accompanied by a green salad made by my father and topped with two slices of Tomme cheese. Este bistec estaba acompañado de una ensalada verde hecha por mi padre y cubierta con dos rodajas de queso Tomme.
11/16/2024: Today began in the high 40s and warmed into the low 70s. Mostly sunny. Excellent weather.
On the morning of 11/16/2024: I made lime puff pastry cookies. I placed lime zest and Splenda on top of the dough and then rolled it up. I then cut this roll into slices and put them in a 350 degree F oven for almost forty minutes. La mañana del 16 de 11 de 2024: Hice galletas de hojaldre de limón verde. Coloqué peladura de limón verde y Splenda encima de la masa y entonces la enrollé. Luego corté este rollo en rodajas y las puse en un horno a 350 grados F por casi cuarenta minutos.

Final Note: It is presently 9:56 AM on 11-17-2024. I’ve completed the morning writing, and I’ve put captions on yesterday’s pictures. I’m now going to do some form of gardening or Guesthouse work, because the weather cannot get much better. It is presently 68 degrees F and sunny.
