7/09/2023: Today began in high 70s and warmed into the low 90s before late-morning rain reduced it to the 80s.
Dawn of 7/9/2023. El amanecer de 9/7/2023. 
Lunch of 7/9/2023 consisted of two types of oven-baked fish (tuna and salmon) accompanied by a salad made by Padre and dressed by Madre. El almuerzo de 9/7/2023 consistía de dos tipos de pescado al horno (atún y salmón) acompañados de una ensalada hecha por mis padres. 
A dessert of a mix of green and red apple slices. The slices were sprinkled with cinnamon and accompanied by a dollop of Greek yogurt. Un postre de una mezcla de rodajas de una manzana verde y una manzana roja. Las rodajas estaban espolvoreadas con canela y acompañadas de una cucharada de yogur griego. 
To prepare this roast, I simply covered it with salt. Para preparar este asado, yo simplemente lo cubrí con sal. 
Afternoon activity of 7/9/2023. I moved the wet feed to one side in these troughs, and after that, I covered the feed with minerals. Una actividad de la tarde de 9/7/2023. Yo mové la comida mojada a un lado en estos comederos, y después de eso, yo cubrí la comida con minerales.

The plated dinner: the Belgian Blue roast was accompanied by a green salad with avocado, by a bowl of sour cream for dipping, and by a glass of red wine. A dessert of a sliced red apple sprinkled with cinnamon and accompanied by a bowl of sour cream and Devonshire cream. Un postre de una manzana roja en rodajas espolvoreadas con canela y acompañadas de un bol de crema ácida y crema de Devonshire.
7/10/2023: Today began in the high 70s and it was partly cloudy. Toward midmorning, it grew even more cloudy, and then it rained frequently for the remainder of the day.

To accompany the sushi, there was a Miso soup garnished with avocado, purslane flowers, and seaweed. Para acompañar el sushi, había una sopa de miso adornada con aguacate, flores de verdolaga, y alga marina.

This insects – Eastern Leaf-footed Bugs” – are ruining my tomatoes. They make the fruit taste like bug. Estes insetos – los “Eastern Leaf-footed Bugs” – están ruinando mis jitomates. Ellos se hacen las frutas a saber a bicho. 
A fried mixture of eggs and leftover beef covered with salsa verde. This was accompanied by a green salad in a tangy vinaigrette. Una mezcla frita de huevos y res sobrante cubierta con salsa verde. Esta estaba acompañada de una ensalada verde en una vinagreta ácida.

After taking this Devonshire cream from the oven, I put it in the refrigerator. I’m going to store it in a better container tomorrow. Depués de tomar esta crema de Devonshire del horno, yo puse en la nevera. Voy a almacenarla en un contenedor mejor en el mañana.
7/11/2023: Today began in the mid 70s and warmed into the low 90s. A bit rainy in the morning and slowed by noon. Stopped by late day, but clouds remained to make the day a wee bit cooler.

For lunch, Padre, Madre, and I went to Latinos y Más. I enjoyed the avocado salad, a filet of pan-seared mero, and some chips and salsa. Para el almuerzo, Padre, Madre, y yo fuimos a Latinos y Más. Yo disfruté la ensalada aguacate, un filete de mero a la plancha, y algunas totopos y salsa.

This afternoon, after work on the farm, I worked on the outdoor shower. I added two walls and made the structure for the final one. Esta tarde, después de trabajo en el rancho, yo trabajé en la ducha afuera. Yo añadí dos paredes y hice la structura para la final.

The great dinner of 7/11/2023: A Belgian Blue ribeye and a Belgian Blue New York Strip. Both steaks were topped with Wagyu butter and accompanied by a green salad made by Padre. La gran cena de 11/7/2023: Un filete de costilla de Azul Belga y un filete de Nueva York de Azul Belga. Ambos bistecs estaban cubiertos con mantequilla de Wagyu y acompañados de una ensalada verde hecha por mi Padre.

7/12/2023: Today began in the mid 70s, and warmed into the 90s, and poured for a brief and very specific time in the late morning.

A Wagyu roast prepared for the oven. I used salt, black pepper, fresh chiltepines, fresh rosemary, and a little bit of olive oil. Un asado de Wagyu preparado para el horno. Yo usé sal, pimienta negra, chiltepines frescos, romero fresco, y un poco de aceite de oliva. 
A morning activity on 7/12/2023: Maribel and I went to Sholom Park of western Ocala. We were playing a game of cheese when it began to rain. A little bit afterward, the storm arrived in true. I took this photo while we were walking (and running) to the car. It was a fun and memorable experience. Una actividad de la mañana de 12/7/2023: Maribel y yo fuimos al Parque Sholom de Ocala oeste. Jugabamos un juego de ajedrez cuando empezó a llover. Un poco después, la tormenta llegó en verdad. Yo tomé esta foto mientras estabamos caminando (y corriendo) para el carro. Fue una experienca divertida, y yo voy a recordarla para toda mi vida. 
When I returned to Jacobouse, I discovered that it had not been raining there. Cuando yo regresé a mi casita, yo descubrí que no hubo estado lloviendo allí. 
A delicious lunch of fried eggs accompanied by a Padre-made & Madre-dressed salad. Un almuerzo delicioso de huevos fritos acompañados de una ensalada hecha por mis padres. 
Padre and I ate dinner after my English meeting with Dania and Damaris. The food consisted of the aformentioned roast (roasted for 4.5 hours), a green salad (of romaine, cabbage, and arugula), and a glass of red wine. Mi padre y yo comimos la cena después de mi reunión en inglés con Dania y Damaris. La comida consistía del asado ya mencionado (asado por cuatro y media horas), una ensalada verde (de romaine, repollo, y rúcula), y una copa de vino tinto.

In the evening of 7/12/2023, I tested my personal theater for the first time. It worked very well. En la noche de 12/7/2023, yo probé mi teatro personal por la primera vez. Me servió muy bien.
7/13/2023: Today began in the mid 70s and warmed into the mid 90s. Mostly sunny morning followed by a partly sunny afternoon. Humid and hot.

For lunch, I enjoyed a great salad of fried Belgian Blue beef, sliced avocado, fresh tomato, a little bit of sour cream, and some salsas. It was delicious. Lunch was constituted of a mixture of fried eggs and leftover beef. This was accompanied by a green salad made by Padre and dressed by Madre. El almuerzo constaba de una mezcla de huevos fritos y res sobrante. Esta estaba acompañada de una ensalada verde hecha por mis padres. 
This afternoon, I massaged the massive red cow named #326. Esta tarde, yo masajé la grandota vaca roja se llama #326.

Dinner of 7/14/2023 consisted of some portions of Wagyu roast. In this photo, the portion was garnished with a little bit of horseradish and arugula. Also, it was accompanied by a salad of cucumber, green cabbage, red cabbage, tomato, and some olives in a tangy vinaigrette. La cena de 14/7/2023 consistía de unas porciones de asado de Wagyu. En esta foto, la porción estaba adornada con un poco de rábano picante y rúcula. For dinner, Padre and I made pizza. Padre’s pizza was topped with mushrooms, and mine only had cheese with a homemade sauce. Both pizzas had crusts like pillows and both were delectable. Para la cena, mi padre y yo hicimos pizza. La pizza de mi papá estaba cubierta con hongos, y la mía tuvo solamente queso con una salsa hecha en casa. Ambas pizzas tuvieron cortezas como almohadas, y ambas estaba delectables. 
Dinner consisted of some slices of pizza like this accompanied by a small green salad in a tangy vinaigrette. La cena consistía de unos pedazos de pizza como este acompañados de una pequeña ensalada verde en una vinagreta ácida.

Final Note: Sometimes, even after a span of greater than 3 years, I am struck by the uniqueness of my living arrangements.
A wet but expansive week… I too still appreciate the container lifestyle. Nice theater.
