Week of May 21, 2023 – No es con prisa. (Someone needs to tell the ants.)

(Above: On the morning of 5/23/2023, I went to Tuscawilla Park to teach English to Maribel and to learn Spanish from her. I think both of us enjoyed our time there, as did the squirrel who was watching us. One of my favorite phrases was: Life is not a hurry.

En la mañana de 23/5/2023, yo fui al parque de Tuscawilla para enseñar inglés a Maribel y para aprender español de ella. Creo que ambos de nostros disfrutamos nuestro tiempo allí, y también, la ardilla que estaba mirando nos. Una de mis frases favoritas que yo aprendí es: La vida no es con prisa.)

5/21/2023: Today began in the low 70s and warmed into the low 90s. Rain began at 8:00 PM.

5/22/2023: Today began in the low 70s and warmed into the high 80s. Sultry morning, rainy afternoon. 

5/23/2023: Today began in the low 70s and warmed into mid 80s. Cloudy.

5/24/2023: Today began in the low 70s and warmed into the mid 80s.

5/25/2023: Today began in the high 60s and warmed into the mid 80s. Sunny morning. Cloudy afternoon.

5/26/2023: Today began in the high 60s, warmed to the mid 70s, and dropped back into the 60s. Cloudy with sprinklings of rain throughout.

5/27/2023: Today began in the high 50s and warmed into the 80s. Very cool weather for the final days of May.

Final Note: Blue’s sister is enormous. La hermana de Blue es enorme. Ella va a ser una vaca grandota.

On the afternoon of 5/26/2023, I pet a calf that we call “Giganta”.
En la tarde de 26/5/2023, yo acaricié una ternera que se llamamos “La Giganta”.
¡Ella tiene solamente cuatro meses!
