(Above: On departing from the Studio at 12:30 PM, I found rain clouds sneaking toward my drying laundry.)
Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and a few chores around Jacobhouse. This was followed by a beef pasture inspection and putting together a Master Blend beef order. On returning home, I cleaned up and wrote for 1.25 hours. PoA coursework ensued (much more writing and some research), as did my drafting out a Master Blend invoice. At 11:30 AM, I ventured over to the studio for a visit, and at 12:30 PM, I made a lunch of Master Blend tacos on grilled corn tortillas.
(6:41 PM Update:) Afternoon activities began with leisure, and at 3 PM, I stepped outdoors to help with various farm tasks, including: feeding bovines via bucket, catching a couple cows (one for breeding and the other for embryo transfer*), checking the beef pasture for ailing & active creatures, breaking up bovine-compacted fodder, and performing the day’s final beef pasture inspection with Padre on foot in the rain.
On returning to Jacobhouse, I decided to make a frittata with chicken eggs that we acquired from my cousin Dana and her daughters next door. Now, as it cooks, I am endeavoring to prepare today’s entry.
Final Note: The remainder of this evening shall be spent adding a couple finishing touches to the frittata, consuming it over at Padre-Studio, and enjoying some leisure-time.
*The latter bovine took about forty-five minutes to come up from the field, but we were well-occupied during that time.
