(Above: A picture taken during this afternoon’s beef pasture inspection. The grass is already becoming quite dry on account of the past three days’ lack of humidity.)
Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and initiation of the weekly Jacobhouse cleaning. This was followed by my venturing outdoors to help Padre and Wag tag a calf before performing the morning pasture inspection. The latter task was ensued by a return to Jacobhouse where I finished cleaning, tended to multiple Master Blend correspondences, and then returned outdoors once more. There, I prepared an order for a customer and waited for about thirty minutes before he showed up. Jerry arrived with the beef shipment a brief time later, and it took approximately twenty-five minutes to find a place for all the beef in the freezers. It was at that point I returned to Jacobhouse where I wrote for the 1.5 hours remaining to the morning. Lunch occurred at 12:30 PM and consisted of Master Blend Blue Sirloin atop a bed of greens.
(6:15 PM Update:) Afternoon activities were initiated with writing, working on a PoA assignment, and taking a brief rest. I next helped Madre with her office project. Today’s tasks consisted of sawing off a sub-floor pipe via hacksaw blade (the sawing only took 16 minutes), applying a coupling, fastening the drain to the shower with Madre’s help, and dropping the whole stall into place with the aid of both Madre and Padre. Break-time came soon after whereupon Padre and I acquired some seltzer water and performed a late-day beef pasture inspection. Afterward, I worked a tad more in Madre’s future office before proceeding to return to Jacobhouse where I fed Doug and put together some very wet pizza dough (I want to see how ultra-wet dough turns out).
Final Note: I am presently concluding today’s entry before working on the Master Blend Inventory Sheet, producing a pizza, and engaging in leisure.
