Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and over an hour’s worth of writing. This was ensued by a pleasant beef pasture inspection* and then some additional shenanigans, including the IV’ing of a calf (the same one that has required similar treatment for the past three days) and the removal of batteries from Padre’s Segway which is unfortunately malfunctioning once again. I was able to return to Jacobhouse soon afterward where I worked on a majority of this day’s entry before engaging in Freekend activities. At 12:45 PM, I broke away from playing Path of Exile to grill a Master Blend Blue-Limousin Chuck Steak, and at 1:10 PM, the midday meal was consumed at the studio.
(4:39 PM Update:) Afternoon activities were initiated with leisure, and at 2:45 PM I ventured outdoors to help with farm activities which included: running a couple heat cows up to barn, helping Padre breed those bovines to 30 year old bison semen, completing a walk around the farm (heifer & beef pastures), and checking in the feed barn for ailing animals. Now that I have returned to Jacobhouse, I am going to resume leisure until it is time to cook another sourdough pizza. Pictures shall be shown on tomorrow’s entry.
Final Note: Here is another song I recorded for the Freekend #5 piano experience:
*This is the first day since summer began where the temperatures may not rise above 80 degrees F. I actually wore a jacket during our Segway ride.
I’m spoiled by Freekend music
