Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and housekeeping tasks. This was ensued by a beef pasture inspection with Padre and then by my return to Jacobhouse. There, I proceeded to write for about 2.25 hours before it was time to venture over to the Studio for a visit. About an hour passed, and then it was time for lunch. Today’s midday meal occurred at 12:50 PM and consisted of Master Blend chuck steak and cucumber salad. It was all delicious.
(7:11 PM Update:) Afternoon activities were initiated with writing a portion of this entry and Master Blend website work. A grueling 1.25 hours* were ensued by a rest in the Jacobhouse bed and then by my venturing outdoors to help with farm tasks. Farm-time today consisted of: pitch-forking feed, fixing a feeding-slot while standing in 12″ deep mud (and rain), walking through the beef pasture as even more precipitation fell, and slogging through ever-deepening muck with buckets of fodder. The outdoors have become completely saturated over the past week.
On returning to Jacobhouse, I worked on the Master Blend website for about an one more hour, made pizza dough, and I am now concluding today’s entry.
Final Note: Dinner this evening will consist of a pan-pizza topped with mozzarella, prosciutto, and arugula. Afterward, I will engage in leisure.
