8/6/2020 – 8 melons.

8/6/2020

Summary: Today began with calisthenics, a beef pasture check with Padre, a few chores at the Jacobhouse, and my venturing down to the Harbison Farm Market to procure tomatoes, cucumbers, and watermelon. This was ensued by my returning home, bringing all the produce to the correct locations, and then writing for a couple hours within Jacobhouse. In the middle of the lattermost activity, I did tend to a Master Blend customer, and it only took about five or six minutes. Otherwise, the morning was quiet. Lunch occurred at 12:20 PM and consisted of baked potatoes, springmix & spinach salad*, and watermelon.

(5:00 PM Update:) Afternoon activities began with writing and rest. This was ensued by my helping with various farm activities outside, including: checking the barn & beef pasture for ailing creatures, moving an old obese Angus cow into a vacation (diet) lot, and taking a quick seltzer break before returning to Jacobhouse. Shortly after my arrival indoors, I was told that a Master Blend customer would be arriving soon. So, I waited a couple minutes as the bulk of the rain passed, before walking up to the freezer room to meet them. Afterward I returned to Jacobhouse where I performed Master Blend bookkeeping before concluding today’s entry.

Here are pictures of a morning activity I neglected to include in slideshow above:

Final Note: All that remains for the evening is reverse searing / consuming a sizeable Master Blend Ribeye & Cap-steak followed by a couple hours of leisure.

*Padre included freshly cut onion on the side which I proceeded to use as a cooling / flavoring agent for my baked potato.
