(Above: There are even more snails in this picture than I originally thought there would be. )
Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, a few tasks around the Jacobhouse, and a beef pasture inspection. This was followed by about 2.5 hours of writing, a visit to the studio at 11:20 AM, and lunch at 12:30 PM. The midday meal consisted of a baked potato, leftover shank-steak stew, cucumber salad, and watermelon.
(6:35 PM Update:) Afternoon activities were initiated with Master Blend correspondence, school preparation*, and leisure. This was followed by my venturing outdoors where I aided with farm-related tasks, including: breaking up feed with a shovel, washing a loader bucket with a large hose, helping capture a couple more cows for Gaur breeding, and checking the pasture & barn for ailing creatures. To conclude my time outdoors, I performed a final beef-pasture inspection with Padre.
Final Note: After returning indoors, I began the process of mixing together some BBQ sauce and pastry dough. The sauce is a double batch because I intend to use it on beef backribs within the next two days, and I may use some this evening on some cheddar prosciutto pastries.
*My brother gave me information about a site named Library Genesis that holds a great trove of educational books. The file-sharing site was started in 2008 by Russian scientists, and as of July 2019, possessed a store of 87 million works ranging from textbooks and journal articles to novels and comic books.
