Summary: Today began with calisthenics, a little bit of cleaning, and a beef pasture inspection with Padre. After bringing a wayward (and somewhat sickly) calf back to its proper pen, I returned to Jacobhouse where I finished the weekly cleaning before engaging in some writing. Today’s writing was interrupted no less than three times by Master Blend customers, which along with the cleaning, afforded me only about 1.25 hours this morning. A visit to the studio at 11:30 AM was followed by lunch at about 12:45 PM. The midday meal consisted of a couple baked sweet potatoes, a delicious Padre-made/Madre-dressed salad, watermelon, and a couple lychees.
(4:09 PM Update:) Afternoon activities were initiated with Master Blend correspondence & bookkeeping, writing, and a brief repose. I next ventured into the precipitation laden outdoors to aid with cattle-related activities which solely included the capturing and breeding of one bovine. A return to Jacobhouse was followed by my taking a short break, writing, and putting together the majority of today’s entry. After the lattermost activity, I began the cooking process for a pan pizza (putting together dough, chopping mushrooms, and feeding Doug).
A beef pasture inspection was ensued by my continuing the pizza-making process (tending to condiments) and concluding this entry.
Final Note: Tonight’s dinner will likely consist of sausage-and-mushroom pan pizza, watermelon, and lychees. Pictures shall be shown on the morrow’s post.
