Summary: This day began with calisthenics, a beef pasture check with Padre, and usual Jacobhousekeeping tasks. I wrote for the remainder of morning from about 8:45 to 11:50 AM. At that point I put a few potatoes in the oven, took care of a couple rotten ones,* and then resumed writing. Lunch occurred at about 12:55 PM directly after my carrying the freshly baked potatoes to the studio through some rapidly precipitating precipitation.

(6:37 PM Update:) Afternoon activities began with revising and rest. I next ventured outside where I helped with a small number of cattle-related activities, including: catching a couple cows for embryo transfer, capturing calves for treatment / weaning / re-weaning**, and checking the beef pasture and barn for ailing creatures. A seltzer break was followed by my return indoors where I tended to about an hour’s worth of Master Blend paperwork before writing the majority of this entry.

Final Note: After completing today’s post, I’m going to start preparing the evening meal’s short-rib repast. From the looks of the beef within the package, it is going to be splendid.

** A couple calves had pulled out their weaning flappers.
