10/10/20 – A resurgence of the watermelons.

10/10/2020

(Above: Melons acquired from Nickles’ produce stand. Two are to be cut after the conclusion of this entry.)

Summary: Today began with calisthenics, piano practice, and writing. This was followed by my venturing outdoors to tend a few different activities, including: performing the day’s first beef pasture inspection with Padre, filling up 8 Moo-Magic bags for the compost stand, and gardening for about 15 minutes. On returning indoors, I wrote for another hour before engaging in about 30 minutes of leisure. A trip to Sushi Bistro occurred at 11:30 AM, and by 12:30 PM, we were eating a delicious lunch*.

(6:49 PM Update:) Afternoon activities were initiated with leisure until 3 PM when I ventured outdoors to tend a Master Blend customer. Following that, were cattle-related activities and construction on Madre’s abode. The former tasks consisted of helping feed, catch, and checking myriad creatures, and later, performing the day’s final beef pasture inspection with Padre. The latter construction-based tasks consisted of sanding/chamfering/gluing pipes together and adding supports to which those pipes will be fastened.

Final Note: Now that I have returned to Jacobhouse, I am going to conclude today’s entry before preparing dinner. That is to say I am about to slice a couple watermelons.

*It should also be noted that Madre and I stopped by Nickles’ produce stand on the way back home. There, we acquired 5 watermelons, 4 ears of corn, and 4 cucumbers – all of the utmost quality.
